I'm going to say it.......The cold start for the first (5 sec) on the 2ss sounds like a combo of a plastic toy horn and a fart noise. I know the lambos and ferrrari do it too, but am I the only one willing to admit that the old-school deeper controlled start-up tone sounds much much better?
Does anyone know if removing the crimp will change sound to more of what the Gen5 sound had??
I do have a flowmaster AMT axleback, and it improved cold start a bit, (and immensely better at warm idle) but if you compare the start up to the gen5, then you know what I'm talking about.
So I understand that the exhaust crimp makes no difference in power, as per the mishimoto article below...
