I was merging onto the highway and punched it to pass a car and the rear end kicked out. That will get your attention very quickly. I am trying to decide what tire to add. It is a tough decision. Hard to find tires that are a good combination for street/track/cornering and come in the right size.
I too have thought about having it tuned to take a little low end out. I had the nannies on and they saved my rear.... literally. Throttle cut real quick, fast and in a hurry as I was extracting the seat out of my third point of contact.

I will put another set of the stock GY's on the rear so that when it is time to replace all 4 I might go with the r888r's. I am not expecting to dead hook in 1, 2 or 3, but to just make it a little better. Hard to explain how quickly it can break traction right now to someone who has not experienced it, but 700wtq at 2,500rpm can get out of hand fast if you are not paying attention. I went to pass a car on a two lane blacktop on Monday as I was heading to work, it went a bit sideways around 65-70mph. I just rolled out of it a little to pull it back in line and went on. It is entertaining until it's not..
