Not quite true. At least not this time around. Challenger sales have gone up by quite a bit ever since the news of the Demon. And Camaro sales have gone up by a lot too once they started offering discounts from switching from a Mustang to a Camaro. And a lot of people in the market for higher hp and better performing cars are switching over to Camaros, Corvettes, and Challengers since there is no news of the GT500 yet and since GT350R prices are astronomical and the non-R is lacking in performance. Some of it IS due to people holding out for the 18s. But I wouldn't say a majority especially when the competition is seeing increases and have been for a while.
