I was looking at my factory tune last night and can see why my car is short shifting 1st. My commanded wot shift mph is set to 19mph in normal. I would think it needs to be 46mph like the rest of the tables. I can run 3 tenths faster manually shifting with the shifter, which should not be the case imo.
Also not to hijack your thread but what was your stock commanded timing? 22 degrees is what mine shows.

Commanded shift mph can be inputed like you've been doing but I cheated a little instead, I used the stock tire height inputs instead of the 28.7 tire height. When I entered the correct tire height it was not giving me enough lead time for the shift. Try raising or lowering the tire diameter in your tune and see where it goes.
Paddle shifting is much slower, this thread proves it.

Either way, this gear swap is pretty incredible for what it's been able to offer (optimized of course)

Thank you. I think their is still some meat on the bone after I get my tune lined out, like you said.

Not so fast homie. Something tells me that GM has instituted safeguards in it's programming that doesn't allow anywhere near it's full potential. Ford has the same trans but with different software, I'll be interested to see if they give it a little more leash and not as much TM. I can't knock the ZL1's but they aren't exactly wowing me so far.

It's definitely different than a stall. I pulled the NPP fuse so it's not so subtle, and with it's steep gears it revs so quickly that it sounds like you want to race everyone at the green light. The car is twitchy down low, (love it btw) but I am somewhat afraid of my wife or daughter driving it. You sneeze and accidentally hit the gas...it's alot of power on demand.
I have a throttle controller that I bought last year, hated the lag, kept it on sp4 always before...now it is at 0, it is that insane now.
