Indeed but I don't think DOD saves more gas than DI. But that's besides the point. How does a smaller displacement, DOHC with DI and extra OD gear in a lighter car make so little improvement in FE. I know the answer, but just seems crazy in this day with everyone going ape about EVs.
Also 3.09 vs 3.15 isn't that big a jump especially when you factor the 2 extra gears in the A10.
Like I said, it better perform otherwise the MPGs lost to better gearing are a waste. And we are talking base GT here, not the PP.

Well the ..4th? Generation Coyote isn't pure DI either, it's the DI/PI so I'm wondering if there's some fuel economy sacrifice there too.
