That is correct, Satin Black paint job is a bit more expensive than Gloss Black. We are working closely with our paint supplier to have the Satin Black match the 1LE finish as close as possible.
Even though very durable materials are used for the paint job, these parts ride extremely close to the road so chips from flying rocks, pebbles or certain road debris can occur. This is an issue that can even affect the vehicle's factory paint job. That being said, many customers prefer to have their side skirts and front splitters wrapped in protection film with their local body shop for longer durability.
