Nice time.
On my first time ever racing any car, on any track ever, I ran a 1:07 as one of my better laps there in my 2017 ZL1. That run was with an instructor in the front seat and traffic in front the entire run (including part of straightaway). I even had to wait for them to signal me to pass on the straightaway which slowed me down a lot, not every driver had enough situational awareness to keep an eye on who was riding their bumper.
I wish I had your stickier tires! I felt the car would do 1:00 to 1:04 with just driver improvement if I head back there again. I was in the novice class the last time I went. I'd like to see what it does with some better rubber, maybe next year.
Are you heading back on October 9th or 28th? I did the car control clinic they offered first then did the big track on my second trip up there. The car control clinic was a blast:
