I placed mine the same day as you, thinking the same thing both you guys were. I ended up sending two emails to the GM rep for my dealership, asking why an order placed so early wasn't being filled.
It appears an allocation for a car has everything to do with your dealerships past & current sales.
BUT, we are just days away from Becky giving us that grand congratulations and a VIN
