For anyone following this and contemplating getting this intake without tuning it please take this into consideration. The MAF is basically acting as a flow meter to tell the engine how much fuel to use. These cars have a MAF that doesn't have its own tube. It gets inserted into a piece and whatever the inner diameter of that piece is plays a huge role. That MAF senses the air velocity going past and the computer then calculates the volumetric flow based on.... you guess it.... the diameter the computer believes to be installed. If you make the diameter larger then your velocity is going down but you've got the same flow. Hence the need for shifting the air flow tables to higher flow values for each signal generated by the MAF. In short, if you get an intake with a different diameter you better tune or you can have issues.
