Preliminary number of total 50ths built, is 5,976. That number is from GM production info given to me from a GM employee who worked on the 50th project.

Like 1hprush said, GM will send out a 50th portfolio kit to the first title owner of the car. It can take anywhere from 2 weeks to a couple months to get the kit. In it will be your production sequence which is your number. Case in point mine is 125 so I am 125 out of 5,976.

GM stopped taking 2017 Model Year orders in April of this year. The last of the 2017s to be built (50th and non) was the second week in June (can't recall exact date at this moment). That's when 2018 model year production started.
