1st try cutting/applying my own custom vinyl stripes

I ordered some small pieces of cheap vinyl wrap and some 3M Design Line Knifeless Tape to practice making my own vinyl stripes. The vinyl is SO cheap, but the precut stripes are SO expensive, I figured I HAVE to learn how to do this!

$5 worth of vinyl and a $25 roll of knifeless tape ( I used about 25 cents worth. Maybe.) So $5.25. And enough vinyl to do the other side still.

Here's my first attempt. It's not perfect but I CAN DO THIS!!!!

I will get this technique down and then IT IS ON!

Remember, this is cheap cheap vinyl (it actually has SWIRLS!) and my very first attempt using knifess tape. The wheel well is not perfect, but I will fix that. My design is simple, but I will progress.

***My photos are terrible, it is pouring rain and I am in an AutoShelter with lighting that shows swirls great, but not so great for picks of vinyl. I will post some in the sun when I can.

I will get this technique down, and I will post a DIY. Then we will all save a TON OF CASH!
