Well, its just for a study abroad program, but there is the fact that she spends most of her time 700+ miles away because she goes to school at Vanderbilt (in Nashville, TN).
Maybe she'll come back to Norman after she graduates. Somehow I doubt it though... She seems to like it better in Nashville. I can't help but think that I've already missed my chance. But I'd rather be too late than spend my whole life wondering if I should have told her how I feel.
No regrets. Embarrasment sucks, but its temporary. Regret never goes away.
