I'd run S3s for street/track tire, but if you trailer your car 19s or even 18s make sense for Hoosiers or slicks if you want seconds vs 10ths off your laptimes. Otherwise the stock rubber can't be beat performance to price wise. Besides IMO they are equal, or pretty damn close to NT01s in pace anyway (for me).

... Wait... I need clarification. You are saying that you believe the stock Goodyear Eagles are similar to NT01? I have no idea, but I would think the NTs would be softer and less tread meaning more grip? Any details would be appreciated.
Personally, I never ran the stock Eagles on the track, I started on Supercar 3s. But I did notice a difference between Michelin Super Sports and Sport Cup 2s on my vette, and I think that would be a close match than the other?
