Why not just expose the filesets on the SDCard, move the .map file off to your PC and archive it for that track. Then you just swap in the .map file for each track before you go and you won't need an SDCard per track.

I'll have to pull mine and look at it.. What would be really need is if it's edited in a hex editor or advanced text editor.. If the GPS coords are in readable format or if you can identify their byte locations, one could just manually edit where it's marked the S/F line data. (I actually wouldn't mind doing that as it lets you pre-set the S/F w/o having to remember to do it while you're on track).
