Ah Story time...

I'm a CarNazifornia resident and this issue almost got my butt in hot water loll.

Short background; I bought the NPP specifically for the stealth mode. I knew form day one I'd be looking into a secondary cat or primary (or both) delete as soon as the car came in. And of course about a day into owning the car I was at the exhaust shop with a saw ready to clear beast's booty pipes a bit. Sounded amazing.

Fast forward about a year, I'm bolting on a procharger and everyone is singing the "get longtubes" song. Now as someone who has faced a state ref before, I decided to make my setup as reversible as possible. What do I do instead? Put my secondary cats back on and buy a set of CA performance test pipes. Car sounds amazing, a little more rasp than I'm used to but just enough to scare the absolute shit out of anyone next to me. In stealth? Dead quiet. Almost stock sounding. Yayyyyy! (minus the annoying valve flutter/rattle but hey you can't have it all right?)

Well one faithful day a few months back, I do a quick WOT under a bridge. Que LAPD cutting a red light from the left turn lane to speed and get behind me. I scramble to go into driving mode to close the valves... But no driving mode. WHAT?! I start blinking hard, scrolling frantically. Of course the light turns green, and now i have to get this twin disc M6 off from a dead start with BLAAHHAHDFGFASDHAHSKDBLJ coming out the back of me all while mr LAPD is literally sticking to where my pipes are right under his window. Luckily skip shift kicks in and it quiets down, I skip into 5th and the valves close on their own (usually hate that but this time it was my savior) and my ociffer decides its not worth his time and leaves.

TL;DR Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu*k this software bug. Add me to the list.
