I went to Atco last night....
The DA was +2,200 to +2,400 all night. A perfect night to try to get into the 11s. But mostly 12.1s with a 12.2 and a 12.0 to bracket the 12.1s. Once again the 60' is my nemesis. But the HP is there with the SS running 117 to 118.5 mph. I will be working on that 60'. Best of the night was a 1.887.
The racing was interesting. Twice I lined up with a Infinity Q50 with pumped up turbos dynoing around 475 to the wheels. 17 pounds of Boost if I remember. It takes meth to run boost this high. The car is definitely a mid 11 second car in good air. And a nice looking ride. Last night it was a 12.0, high 11 second car.
We ran twice with him winning 12.012@118.45 to my 12.109@118.57. This was in +2400 DA. We raced a second time with the Pro light at the tree left over from the last funny car license run. Here I treed him a bit and took the win with a 12.094@118.02 to his 11.949@118.78. Weirdly, even though his MPH was higher I was running him down on the big end. We never did get a third run as his friend had a heart attack on the staging lanes. They took him to the hospital. Hope he is okay!!
On my last run of the night I lined up with a new rare Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio. The car was a stunner and with a 500 HP Turbo V6 also fast. I was excited about this run, my last of the night as the owner said the car has run a 12.1. Well this time he must of messed up somehow and I beat him 12.136@118.79 to his 12.513@110.02. Still it was exciting to race that car.
Notice famous Pat shaking his head. I can guess what he is thinking. "When will that youngster learn how to launch his car?"

These also was a young lady in the staging lanes with a black CA6 2SS auto. Great non color choice!. I think it might have been her first time out in the car and she ran fast @ 12.4. I didn't catch her name. But she might chime in here. I hope she comes back we need more Camaros representing.
