OP, I drove and drive my car like you. Stop lights turn into staging lights quite often (obviously staying under the speed limit). If the engine was designed like I hope it was, I think this is how it is supposed to be driven. Now, if you are continually upshifting with no traction and bouncing the red line, it might take some life off. But if GM designed the Camaro, ANY model to be babied, i think they should re evaluate their market. I did not break mine in at all and it has been running like a gem! There are mixed opinions on this but I simply couldn't resist. I will be keeping mine until it kicks
