AC Delco has a glue in aerosol form (spray) that they just respray on the liner and slap it back on. My 2016 also has a bit of sag, not by much unless you touch it but I figured that was because of my hardwire kit running through the A pillar and all the from the top to the mirror.

Well I wonder if it's just a simple spray on glue that is used if it's possible to just peel back slightly the part of the headliner that is coming down, apply glue, and just reapply headliner??? The areas of the headliner that seem to be having the issue are all at the edge, not the center. So it would seem the headliner does not need to be fully removed.
