Unless you're saying to get the car up to mount the lift points, jack the car from the middle point?

If you're just doing a quick lift, yes, you can use the front with a floor jack. If you're going to put the car on jackstands, use the middle cutout (I use a ZL1 mag pad) to get the car in the air, and put the jackstands under the ZL1 "permanent" mounted pads on the front.
