At first, Chevy released the kit with no model year constraints. After finding out the BCM re-coding didn't work on the 2016 BCM, they then re-marked the suspension kit description for only for '17-'18 model years instead of fixing the coding problem.

You have to be careful in that some of the wholesale sites still list the kit OK for all years; not true.

Still waffling on selling off my 1LE kit or not. Need to the DSC controller in first and judge from there.
