Exactly, they're not only cheaper with a wider selection but since they're narrower they should be better fit for wet/snow conditions
I think most people who want to get 35 profile tires are worried about the wheel gap/look (same can be said for those who want to get lowering springs). Getting a 1le and then messing with its suspension geometry, MRC calibration and taller gearing sounds very counterproductive to me, each his own of course
