Currently in the process to get a tuned box and that will delete the subs from most of the back seat also I'm going to dig into the wiring diagram to get those other features back but if you have a stereo those options are pretty much pointless

Definitely interested in more bass. I used to have 2 Fosgate amps bridged each to one speaker. 2 12's in a sealed box (polk momo) and they hit pretty hard. Personally not a big fan of the ported boxes though yours seems pretty good. Don't know if I need that much bass though. I still want to put 2 12's in a sealed box and just need to figure out how much power I want to send to them which will determine the speaker. I just don't want to over power the factory speakers to the point where I cant hear them anymore. I do want to retain all sounds minus the engine/exhaust signal. It seems to me that that should be a single wire within that harness. Thanks for posting up how you did this. I too will likely go the route of a circuit breaker over a fuse. This is a project that I am going to take on a few years from now once a lot of the issues have been hammered out but in the mean time I am going to design what I want so when its time to drop the dime I will be ready.
