Procharger and meth
I am getting ready to have my procharger and headers installed on my 16 2ss. Its a d1x with helical gears, red race valve, and a stage 2 intercooler, kooks 1-7/8 headers with offroad pipes. Im kind of curious how methanol works. Plan to go with a stage 3 snow direct injection/forced induction kit, but honestly probably wont have the funds to buy and have that installed for a couple months. If I have the car tuned to 4-5% of the cars fuel availability for max power, when I do buy the methanol kit will I just install it and start injecting without retuning and everything will auto adjust? Ive seen multiple people saying you can install it and a tune isnt necessary, but I want to verify before I choose to wait to buy, or wait on complete install for charger and meth kit and donit all at once. I want the meth for the extra power etc, but dont want to completly rely on it and risk engine damage. Any help or advice is appreciated!! Thanks
