I was there for that race and had a nice conversation with the guys from Blackdog Speed Shop.

No heat issues. The first day was a typical club day, four (actually my instructor drove my car for some of his too so it was almost five) 20 min sessions with about an hour plus break in between. It was a warm sunny day with temps in the mid to upper 80's for sure. I always pop the hood of course to dissipate as much heat as possible but there was no issue or change in performance all day. The second day was more concentrated. I burned through the full tank of gas in much less time because it was basically open track from 1pm to 5pm. I tried to limit myself to 20-25 mins per session with a break for the car (and me...) between. When the rain came, and the track re-opened I was out for almost 50 mins straight but at reduced speed.

I have a feeling the car is much more capable than I am when it comes to endurance. And since I'll be doing almost exclusively normal club type events with the 20 min sessions and long breaks, that's fine with me. No heat issues.
