So stop buying into this track PR. Buy the best car for you to perform in the venue you Will use it in. Ensure that it has the comfort and appearance that you prefer. My guess is that straight line performance will be so close it will depend on the driver.

I know your love for Dodge leads you to say such things but beyond the power deficit, Ford had some serious shortcomings in the 15-17 GT that are noticeable on the street.

It sounds like the gap will be closed for model year 18 and choosing between the SS and GT will be a matter of cost and personal taste.
