Ok, you
do still want to connect to the car via BT for the same things as before, like talking on the phone hands free. So, go ahead and let it connect via BT.
What I am saying is that BT is not used for the Waze screen mirroring. The Waze screen mirroring requires a real wire connection. In order for the Waze screen mirroring to work, you need to plug the phone into a USB port. I use the one in my center console. This has the added benefit of charging the phone.
