GM isn't doing anything. That entire report was pure speculation based on the fact that the UAW at D-Ham was talking to GM about securing future product at the plant, where 4/6 of those cars are built. Somebody put 2 and 2 together and got 6, next thing you know GM is supposedly killing off a bunch of cars.
Even the most logical candidates to be dropped from the lineup are still going to be in production for years.
