Yes, this was a public track event...and not much can be concluded in regards to total performance. Let's not pretend however that the ZL1 was "keeping up" based off of mechanical abilities.

Okay, now watch the exact same section of track that starts at 4:55 one lap later when the ZL1 is trying to push him. There is no traffic leading up to this section so both cars are free to run..... at 3:14 the GT clearly got a much better drive off the corner. Just the opposite happens At 4:55 which lead to the GT driver waving him by (as is proper courtesy). What kind of blows my mind is that is NOT a 1LE.... I want a ZL1 1LE bad!!!
