Also what's "Redline Water Wetter" ? is it water-meth or something?
It's all in the name of the game and potential customers just may not see it... It's just being smart about it. The machines we drive will alter itself given the environment and data is different. There is no magical "add X part and you will gain 550 rwhp and shave off 5 seconds of your 1/4 times" lol. I may be exaggerating just a bit :P lol, but you get the point.

The whole open hood dyno thing is not a bad thing though it can and does lead to marketing BS at times if not given a disclaimer or people realizing that they don't drive around with their hood open lol... That number being produced by it is MAX POWER. Max power as in if everything is ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. But the REAL number to look at is the average. It will fluctuate a lot as there are a crap load of factors...

One thing I forgot to mention is the whole HP tuners... It truly does NOT matter what program people use... It's all about the tuner. I am not a fan of HP tuners because I don't feel like carrying a laptop (hell, I don't even own a laptop...) to change a tune or read a code. Why I am a fan of portable units like SCT, Accessport, Diablo, etc. Small devices that are easy to carry for a road trip and just change up your tune in a minute (road trip, maybe not have access to 93 and be 91 only vice versa) or to read codes.

As for the Water Wetter, I found it always funny but it falls under the; don't knock it till you try it deal. Been using it for YEARS now, on all my cars. It's an additive for the coolant that that decreases temps by a good 20-30F. My camaro has it and it's been 100-106 out lately... Temp hasn't changed one bit from 190-205 range vs it being 50s outside. Last summer, I did not have it and I was always around 200-220F range.
