Had paint and rattling issues with my black 2017 2SS and the end result is that they are going to replace the car.

We (dealership and I) couldn't find one I wanted so we ordered a 2018 2SS little over 9 weeks ago.

I don't have it in my possession yet, But it's at the dealership marked as sold... If things go according to plan (I'm trying to get compensated for the clear bra, dealer installed coating, window tint, mud guards, oracle side markers [painted] and differential fluid change on the current 2017), Then I'll be parking the new 2018 in my garage from now on.

I only took a few pictures of it, It was over 100 degree's and they gave me the run around... When I showed up on the lot after finding out it was there I immediately found the only silver newly arrived 2018... It was perfect except for a horribly fitting rear bumper and a sun roof. I got a bit scared, I was simple with my order 2SS, MRC, NPP, Nav, Black wheels, black bowties, blade spoiler in Ice Silver over Red, Nothing more and nothing less.... So I was about to lose my cool.

When I asked the manager who placed the order if that car back in the lot is the one I ordered, He asked is it silver over red? I said it was and he confirmed that was it... The manager I was dealing with was very uncertain, So I pulled up the vin I had and it didn't match that one, I actually also had it's inventory number so he looked for the keys to see if it would be there and he found it. He was dealing with a customer so after 20 minutes of me sitting around he just handed me the key and said "find it, don't die" (because it was like 105 degrees and I made a joke already about being fat and dying in the heat)...

I walked out on the opposite side where all of the trucks and SUV's are and pressed the panic button, as soon as I walked out the doors I heard the 3 honks... Then saw part of the front end peeking out behind a Silverado. Just as the sales manager was walking past me I said "found it"... We walked over, confirmed the vin.

It's missing the blade spoiler but I'll deal with that when it comes time to pick up the car... After I placed the order for the 2018 the manager who places the orders emailed me stating that the spoiler was on back order but that "they can add one when the car gets here"... I explained that as long as it has a standard RS spoiler it won't be a problem but if it has a SS spoiler installed the entire trunk lid will need to be replaced as the holes won't align (I also linked him to the thread here where someone tried to install the blade spoiler and found the center mounting hole on the standard SS spoiler is too far out to be covered by the blade spoiler)... He said that he would then let me know when the spoiler becomes available... I never heard anything back so I figured that it became available.
