So I got mine installed properly finally! Initially, I just didn't follow my fellow members' advice - this time I let the spoiler sit in the sun for a couple of hours, it became as flexible as a rubber snake (well almost). Much easier to install then. The company sent me new tape, and I went with 3 strips, no adhesion promoter and it still stuck well.
