I'm guessing nobody here has ever been to Alaska or NW Canada?
BTW - brown bear = grizzly bear = Kodiac bear (all the same species), just different names to identify if they are coastal (grizzly), inland (brown) or from the island of Kodiac. The coastal brown is generally larger than the inland brown from the extra protein and fat from the fish and more plentiful game, and Kodiacs are generally larger than the grizzlies for the same reason, but even more so.
I couldn't help but giggle about this for two reasons: Anyone seen Me, Myself & Irene when he comes across the cow laying in the middle of the road? And in Alaska many years back a moose fell off a mountain cliff and landed on the hood of a ladies car as she was driving down the road. Imagine
