I see. I didn't notice any awkward feeling on steering response with 305s up front (even with the Trofeo Rs) but it may feel better with wider wheels maybe

My friend who ran them is also happy and says they're better than the R888s. It's so hard to believe that they improved the tires by only changing the thread pattern but who knows

They're slightly more expensive than the Cup2s on 305/30/19 ($320 vs $360) so it'll be a tough choice next time. I've never ran with Cup2s personally but I see mixed reviews. It sounds like they're only good when they're fully warmed but for only a few laps. The fact that they weigh about 6 lbs less than the equivalent tires is also tempting (26lbs vs 32lbs)
