You really need a reality check. If you are talking about investment potential the ZL1 shouldn't even be in the discussion. There will be a 20% discount coming soon as they are not moving off the lots due to lack of demand. When this happens the used values drop like a rock just like they have for the past 3-years Chevy has had to offer the massive discounts.

Don't even offer discounts on the GT350R just sell it at MSRP and each and every one will sell very quickly. Offer up the ZL1 at MSRP and no one will even look at it. The market has already decided which car is worth the money and which isn't.

Need proof. What is a 2013 45k 1LE worth today maybe 28k at best. What is a 2013 45k Boss worth today 38k or more. Which car was the better investment.
Yea BS. From what I've seen, the Boss 302s fetch low 30s with low miles on them. The SS 1LE fetches high 20s all day. They aren't as far off as you would like people to believe. But nice try anyway. But knowing how stupid Mustang owners are, I wouldn't be surprised if y'all are actually paying high 30s for a used car that you can buy for low 30s and is actually worth even less than that. Y'all are used to overpaying for crap anyway.

And if you think the ZL1 will need 20% discounts to move then you really are out of your mind. The ZL1 is the hottest car right now, it is the best all around car you can buy, and bang for the buck it is the best car you can get. It beats the GT350R on a circle track and the quarter mile, hangs with the Hellcat in a straight line and obliterates it on a circle track, hangs with the Z06 on a circle track and straight line, costs less than all 3 of those cars, and offers better options. And it does all that while being sold at MSRP despite the Hellcat and GT350R owners getting their asses ripped off.

And as far as investment potential is concerned, at least I can get a ZL1 at or even below MSRP. The GT350R is being sold with huge markups. So even if it retains more of it's MSRP value, you still tacked on an extra $5K, $10K, $15K and more to that price. So you'd still be losing money.
