I'm close to just biting the bullet and ordering the car with the $1500 discount, and hope to get lucky with a GM incentive coming when the car is delivered. Certainly not counting on that though.

You should find a dealer that will give you supplier, Becky will give you a better deal than that. OP, maybe see what she can do for you as well.
