Don't lose any sleep over the accident! Your Camaro will be repaired using OEM parts because the 6 Gen is still new in that the aftermarket body parts are not many if it all. My '16 had major front end damage back in November from an accident and was repaired with new GM parts. Of course some parts were back ordered that held up the shop that repaired it causing it to take about 2 months for me to get it back. The only thing I can see is that you might be without your baby for a few weeks but it should be good to go when you get it back! Good luck and no it probably won't be your first and last accident. At least it wasn't for me.
