I used ST43s on the street and track with my previous cars and have been using the ST43s on the 1LE since day one, no issues here. I am not worried about the residue as it goes away pretty quickly at the track

ST43s didn't bother me on the street and ST47s are the same. I might switch back to OEM pads for winter but I am not too worried as they are not harsh on rotors.
