The GT350 TP is ~equivalent to a gen6 SS-1LE that costs $10k less. The GT350R bested the gen5 Z/28 but fell short in every measure against a base ZL1 that isn't a dedicated track car (and whose lap was 1.7 seconds slower this time... for some reason).

Hard to see value in paying ADM on a GT350 given its premium price relative to its actual ability. Track, strip or street. Illustrates that there are guys willing to pay a premium to own a car that looks like a car that can actually perform...the R. Ford and Mustang buyers seem to have a long history of that type of relationship. Special

No doubt and I'm sure its fun as hell to beat the piss out of one. How will they hold up to that? How does the poor low end power band feel on the street?
The GT350R holds its own against a car with 124 more horsepower and 221 lb-ft of torque isn’t living up to the hype? Or earning number 2 on the last best drivers car? Or besting the ZL1 in motortrends head to head and most other comparisons? Or being consistently raped by admin because the demand is still so high? The GT350 out breaked and cornered the mighty ZL1 on the track. The biggest advantage the ZL1 has is that HUGE horsepower and torque it carries.

And….once again, you seem to be inferring that motortrend tanked the ZL1 lap times. Give it a rest already, this isn’t the first time cars have lapped seconds slower on different days due to different weather and track conditions.

As for the poor low end comments, you would think everyone in here would understand the ability to downshift.
