Alright, so my Red Hot ZL1 came in two days ago and I bought it (since it was May 31, I took advantage of the Chevy $1,000 cash rebate and I used my supplier pricing code that my company I work for provided which dealer honored).
Everything was good and I signed the paper work, and I was astounded how much the car was ($59 plus tax - Red Hot, M6, PDR, no other options). Car is 64k MSRP. I signed and drove away.
Get a call from the dealer this morning from the manager and says "We got a problem, we thought you said Employee Pricing and you gave us a Supplier Code."
I told him "I NEVER once said employee pricing. I told you from the very beginning in March when I ordered this car that I would be doing supplier and even you said you would not honor employee pricing. I even brought it up again when I was picking it up. I must have said the word SUPPLIER SUPPLIER SUPPLIER SUPPLIER over 10 times.
Long story short, he says they will honor employee pricing now if I can get a code.
Can any one help me with this?
He is saying I need to pay the difference of $2,447.00
The car is at home.
What can I legally do if I signed all the paper work and took the car home already with already over 200 miles on the odometer? From my perspective, the dealer screwed up and was not paying attention, so they should eat the cost of their screw up.
