It really comes down to which suspension do you want...as others have said many times the 1LE suspension is just going to be alot stiffer, so depending on where you intend to drive your ZL1(/1LE) will probably dictate which version you buy. Outside of the suspension, you can pretty much buy everything else to make it "look" like a 1LE, but if you want that suspension (and have pretty smooth roads all around you) then you should just buy the 1LE. I wanted a 1LE, but it is not for me...I live in pot-hole-land, where construction zones/uneven pavement are the norm and I just don't want to suffer each and every day. How many Z28's do I see driving around town here?...1(there will always be one..."that guy" haha)....how many do I see at the track? dozens and dozens...lol. DSSV needs smooth roads...
