No, it shows the track conditions weren't the same. You aren't going to get a better comparison than what they did. Same driver (professional), same conditions, same day, back to back.
Something else to keep in mind here is, on top of the already huge HP advantage the ZL1 has, this particular track is at ~2500 feet elevation. Elevation changes are much more detrimental to NA vehicles than FI ones. If this course was closer to sea level, these two would be even closer.
