Before signing the papers on my ZL1 I had the service dept check the alignment. From the factory it was set in "Track" alignment per the tech. They asked if they should leave it there or did I want the "normal" street alignment. I chose the street. The "Track" alignment would have severely worn my tires I was told. The fronts might have lasted about 3000 miles before the wear patterns would have made them unusable. The back settings weren't very different from the street, but still would have caused higher wear on the tires.
Just my experience with the new car delivery from the factory at the dealership. Your experiences may differ.
