Which is why I said in the beginning that I don't really care for the popularity part of it. MT guys say they like the GT350? Ok good for them. Every idiot has an opinion. Which one performed better? Oh the ZL1?! Ok that is what I wanna know. I'll take a loss in popularity if I'm better at everything else.

Compared to the GT and considering that it didn't get completely annihilated by the vastly more powerful ZL1 means that the suspension had to make up where the engine fell short. That is why I think it is pretty damn good. Unless the fact that the track wasn't too big played a key role. I mean, at Nurburgring the ZL1 was 3 seconds faster. But I'm saying that it is pretty good all things considered.

As for it's revving, I'm not sure how you're not enamored with the GT350. DOHC engine don't automatically rev to 8250 RPM. The stock GT is considered a fairly high revving machine at 7000. Hell, the GT350 is one of the highest revving production V8s ever made....but it's nothing new or special?
I know it wasn't built for the quarter mile. SHEESH man I only said it or inferred it like 5 times. But still I am talking about overall abilities and cost. To me, a car that costs well over $60K had better be faster than 12.2 in the quarter mile regardless of what it was built for. Look at all the cars that are built for circle tracks that are in the 11s. If someone thinks the GT350 is a good value then good for them but to me that thing is not worth the money. That is MY subjective add-on. MT should have thrown that in there.

And no, it isn't anything special because it is a DOHC engine and that is what they do. They rev high. I'm not impressed with anything Ford does and I haven't been since 2014. They made a nice looking GT I'll give them that. They put in features like a subwoofer, the heat extractor turn signals were nice, and a few other things. But overall they are getting killed and needed a pity "looks, feels, and specialness" win/pat on the back so that people who bought the GT350R wouldn't feel bad about their purchase. Guess what, if you want a faster more comfortable car with more potential for the same price, buy literally anything else that costs the same, lol!! I mean, people call the Hellcat a "one-trick pony" because it is a straight line car...well the GT350 is a one-trick pony too because it can corner damn well but is shitty everywhere else.

Experience from the many Camaros and the many Mustangs I have owned over the years. Mustang seats do not hold up well at all. Neither does the paint.
