First of all, great run bigdave!! Very good times! That 130.....holy $!#*!
762cat, you have a very good question. I thought.....well, you're definitely on a drag tire to get the cat to 60' that good and run the time you did, so maybe there's more rolling resistance versus the street tire on the Z. Maybe. Especially if you were running less air pressure than his 27 psi. The real head scratcher is, how do you gain 6 mph but still lose .07 seconds in the final 1/8 mile. It had me curious as well, but I think I can see the possibility. Whether it was rolling resistance, head wind, tail wind, better aero, or any combination of things that led to the higher gain in speed, the Z was stilling losing time as each car crosses the 1/8, evidenced by the higher trap speed by the cat. So the Z would've continued losing time until it matched the cats speed and then actually gained a little back once it started traveling faster, but simply lost too much time in the first part of the 1/8, to record a gain in ET. So it is possible, but the question now becomes, what led to the difference on the big end. Did you lose power for some reason? Did you have a head wind? Etc., etc.
