If you plan on long term ownership, over 100,000 miles, take it easy for the first 1500. You don't have to completely baby it but keep it under 4500 rpm.

I actually plan on keeping mine 200,000 miles. Drive it all the time, it's not a garage queen. So for the first 1500 I kept it under 4500 rpm and accelerated smoothly. Then I let her rip and haven't been able to quit smiling since.
