The ring gap issue doesn't give you a box of parts 99.9% of the time.
And usually, happens on LONG highway pulls... not dyno runs.
You will simply butt the rings together.
The middle ring land will crack.
You end up with blow by and lack of power on that hole.
Thankfully, then all you have to do is swap the pistons out for a forged set.
(Or replace that slug with another stock one, and re-gap rings while in there)
So really not the end of the day.
What HE has is totally different..... that's a bucket of parts.
Gonna need at least a set of rods, pistons, crank, and possible block and head. Usually when you have one let go like that, its a total write off.
