Since Redlinez still has not answered the queries above about his rumored Ford pushrod engine, I am going to speculate that he may have been confused about the 6.2L truck engine which seems to be on it's way to 7.0L.

These are not DOHC 4V V8s. That is true. The 6.2L is a SOHC 2V 'Hemi-like' V8 designed for trucks, but is capable of modifications to produce approximately 800 NA HP. Check it out in this older article: http://www.mustangandfords.com/news/...ter-v8-engine/

Note that the block architecture allows for 2, 3, or 4V heads, but zero pushsticks.

This is believed to be the base engine for a rumored 427 NA Boss Mustang.
