I know the brake cooling on these cars is excellent, so I'm curious how the loss of thermal capacity will impact braking across a session. Will you be running this setup with the same pad at the same track to do some direct comparison between these and oem rotors. Also curious what the thermal paint on the rotors will tell you. Really looking forward to your results.

very good points. I also thought about that too but noticed that the OEM pin points were a bit different and thicker than the DBA rotors so part of that 1.3 lbs weight difference might be coming from there. In addition to that, material and cooling differences between the rotors may also be a factor. I heard nothing but good things about the DBAs but until comparing the two at the track it will be hard to say anything just yet. I will be using the same exact pads (I always use ST43s) and do my tests at the same tracks.
I still have the OEMs and am planning to use the DBAs once the fronts need to be changed since I don't want to change them back and forth. I never used thermal paint before but it may be a good idea.
