I'm sure this is common knowledge for most, but I honestly am ignorant on the actual workings, pro's & cons of why GM has implemented it in the ZL1. Please understand this is my first real world hot rod & although I am & have always been an enthusiast, I don't recall ever hearing about this topic in the past. I assume it's another newish techno gadget I haven't kept up with??

I see so many posts on the TM being an issue of sorts for being able to get the most out of this car...I see it mostly when comparing the acceleration to the HC & getting to understand or control it as being some sort of hurdle of sorts to wring out her best.

Anyway, would appreciate some feedback...I originally thought having all the nannies turned off got rid of any & all issues of what the car can offer, but am beginning to wonder if TM is even tied to the nannies now.
