RPM Motorsports sells a tuner pkg for the 2017. 'Seems' they can unlock and alter the tune...

I was planning on swapping the tune from theirs, back to stock, IF it required service - would they know ?

Exactly. Gotta pay to play. They can tell if the ECU wasn't in the car when the problem happened. I gave an extreme example above, but people don't realize that there are other simpler ways of being caught.
